  34. Unfortunately, BMP is such a Windows thing that it is useful, even 
  35. though I hate it.  I have a small SCSI drive that is nothing but 
  36. a library of images.  I have a BUNCH in BMP format becase I like
  37. to use them as Windows wallpaper or as clip art for cheap programs.
  38. How do I put up with the storage hogs?  Well, they compress
  39. quite readily.  I actually took the chance and use Drivespace3
  40. on the drive (Windows95).  Makes it useless when I boot into
  41. NT.  Makes it a little bit more risky, but I never store critical
  42. or original work on it.
